The last picture is of the tiny l’Arc de Triomphe. Napoleon Bonaparte wanted to walk underneath something after his battles so he had a smaller l’Arc de Triomphe made while the actual l’Arc de Triomphe was being built. Too bad he was exiled to an island and never actually had the chance to walk underneath the real thing. So much to say that France never found another reason in walking under their Arc of Triumph until Hitler invaded and walked right through it himself.
